Logs for renovation builders

Construction companies all over Finland constantly purchase various beams and replacement logs from us as a custom order – if necessary, strength verified by an authorized verificator. Specially long logs, which have been air-dried in our Atelier for several years, are suitable for even the most demanding projects. Our log warehouse is the largest in Finland. We are prepared to implement large projects at short notice. We deliver high-quality beams/logs for replacing rotten ones e.g. partner for Restart Ltd and various restoration projects, most recently Säätytalo (Senaatti Kiinteistöt) and Prison Museum (Museovirasto/Rakennus Ahola Oy). There is also plenty of hand-peeled board in stock for use in, for example, bulkheads or exterior planking.

Villa SoFiel

This villa complex offers a luxurious setting for relaxation. The area includes three buildings that we have crafted: the main building, the sauna building and the accommodation cabin. The main building is constructed as a fan shed. “Fan-assembly” is a technique developed by Timo, where the shape of the building is derived by utilizing the natural wedge-like shape of the tree trunk. The ground floor of the main building has a warm garage, a warm glass terrace, sauna facilities, a pool, a wine cellar and a table tennis room. The kitchen, living areas and two bedrooms are located on the upper floor. In addition to the sauna facilities and the pool, the sauna cottage has a utility kitchen, a lounge and two bedrooms. Massive roof trusses bring a strong sense of structure to the interiors of all buildings. Villa SoFiel located in the Naantali Archipelago is available for rent here.

U3 Lodge

This destination, built on top of Utsuvaara next to Levitunturi, serves as a base for adventurers who wish for extreme luxury. Built on three floors, this log lodge contains an American-style complex, where the garages on the ground floor lead directly to the living areas on the upper floors. The building has six bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The spa department and the cozy living room offer comfortable lounges for socializing. Crophouse Kivistö

We have built many single-family log houses in Helsinki, Turku and elsewhere around Finland. In this private house built in Turku, modern architecture meets the solutions characteristic of traditional log architecture in a harmonious way. Glass walls structure the massive log sections into eye-catching motifs. The log ceiling beams create an atmosphere that is familiar from 19th-century. The resulting contrast excitingly connects the old-times to modern architecture. In “lock-notch”, the needs of urban construction and demanding connection details come together in a spectacular way.
